# Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – The Director's Cut

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – The Director's Cut là phiên bản nâng cấp với nhiều cải tiến đáng kể so bản gốc vào năm 1996, vẫn được phát triển bởi Revolution Software và ra mắt đầu tiên trên hệ máy Wii vào năm 2009. 

Trong Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars người chơi sẽ được vào vai George Stobbart, một chàng du khách trẻ tuổi người Mỹ tại Paris, trên chuyến hành trình làm sáng tỏ một âm mưu đen tối của anh ta. Ngoài ra, trong bản The Director's Cut này người sẽ còn vào được vai Nicole Collard, là nhân vật chính nhưng không phải là nhân vật có thể điều khiển được trong phiên bản gốc năm 1996. Broken Sword diễn ra tai các địa có thật lẫn giả tưởng ở châu Âu và Trung Đông.
