Người chơi sẽ được vào vai John Chaser, một người đàn ông không trí nhớ, không bạn bè. Một thân một mình giữa một cuộc chiến đẫm máu, anh ta cố gắng tìm hiểu bản thân là ai. Với khả năng chiến đấu phi thường đã cho phép anh sống sót giữa cuộc chiến, nhưng như vậy lại càng làm anh ta thắc về bản thân hơn. 

Chaser thức dậy trên một tàu vũ trụ tên là H.M.S. Majesty. Anh ta không biết tại sao anh ta lại bị săn đuổi bởi một đám người mặc đồ đen và không biết họ sẽ làm gì với anh khi bị tìm thấy. Câu chuyện dẫn bạn từ tàu H.M.S. Majesty đến thành phố Montack trên Trái đất, tiếp đó đến Siberia và cuối cùng đến Sao Hỏa, nơi hành trình kết thúc và hy vọng sự thật có thể được tìm thấy tại đó.
