Heroes of Might and Magic 4 là phần thứ 4 trong chuỗi game thương hiệu Heroes of Might and Magic và cũng là phần cuối được hãng New World Computing phát triển.

Heroes of Might and Magic 4: Complete đã bao gồm phần game gốc và 2 phiên bản mở rộng là Heroes IV: The Gathering Storm (2002) và Winds of War (2003), bổ sung thêm tổng cộng là 12 nhiệm vụ mới, 20 bản đồ mới, các sinh vật và các vật phẩm mới khác.

Heroes of Might and Magic 4 tiếp nối sau các sự kiện diễn ra trong Heroes Chronicles: The Sword of Frost (một nhánh game spin-off của nhánh Heroes of Might and Magic 4).
