**Ikari III: The Rescue** được gọi đơn giản là **Ikari III** ( Ⅲ ) tại Nhật Bản , là một trò chơi bắn súng . Nó được chuyển đến NES , DOS và C64 . Nó là phần thứ ba và cuối cùng của Ikari Warriors loạt sau khi Ikari Warriors , và Victory Road . Phiên bản NES đã được giới thiệu trong CES 1991.

## Cốt truyện

Đứa con của ứng cử viên tổng thống đã bị bắt cóc bởi tổ chức khủng bố Crime Ghost do Faust chủ mưu. Các quan chức hàng đầu đã yêu cầu 2 người lính tốt nhất xâm nhập vào căn cứ của Crime Ghost và giải phóng đứa trẻ.

## Lối chơi

Trong khi trò chơi vẫn sử dụng cần điều khiển quay, một phiên bản tồn tại hoàn toàn bỏ qua tính năng quay.

Việc lựa chọn vũ khí được giảm đáng kể từ các phần tiền truyện, và không có phương tiện nào có thể sử dụng cho người chơi. Vũ khí hiếm hơn rất nhiều, khiến trò chơi tập trung hơn vào chiến đấu tay đôi.
