Sudden Strike 2 cũng được phát triển bởi nhà phát triển Nga Fireglow Games và do CDV phát hành. Phần chơi chiến dịch vẫn kể về cuộc chiến giữa Liên Xô và Đồng Minh, chống lại quân phát xít Đức và ở phần 2 này ta được điều khiển thêm quân phát xít Nhật Bản mà ở phần 1 không có. Từ đó mà chiến trường cũng sẽ đi sang mặt trận Thái Bình Dương. Phiên bản Gold này đã bao gồm phần game gốc và các DLC mở rộng như "Resource War" và "Total Victory".
